About This Server
This season will end at the beginning of Season 5. Season 5 will start with the release of Eco 10.
We are in the beginning phases of planning our first government project, a community disposal project!
More details to come, but we will have a service allowing you to drop off your unwanted goods and have them transported to the dump.
Plenty of items will be needed to make this work, and as such taxes will increase. This will go to vote once we have the
plan in place to allow everyone a say.
Additionally, this project will help to inject materials and additional currency into the economy,
excavation will be required to prepare the dump. The government will buy/sell the produced materials at a
depot with no limit other than storage space!
Named after the Latin word for gold, the Aurum currency has been released! Here is how it works:
1. A government store buys a limited amount of items to distribute the currency.
It also sells these back 1:1 cost.
2. Taxes are applied to fund government projects, keeping the currency backed by
the holdings of the government store.
3. only 500 Aurums a day my be generated from the government store!
-Excludes Requisition Store
Tax rates:
-Sales tax - 2% charged to the buyer on all transactions outside of the government store
-Property Tax - for each plot owned in excess of 50 plots, a 1 Aurum per day tax will be applied!
-Luxury Tax - If you have more than 750 Aurum (Will be adjusted as new money is minted) you will pay a 1% tax daily.
This is 1% of all of the Aurum on all of your bank acccounts, government accounts excluded, joint accounts pro-rated.
Notes for this season:
-Star progression will be Medium with expensive skill books and end game craft, 1x resource and time costs.
-No books will be crafted, only scrolls.
-Admin requests should be submitted here: https://forms.gle/qFuSSxk5qVuiqjuU6
-Admin powers will only be used to solve problems that cannot be solved with in game mechanics (Glitches, bugs, etc),
if a law can fix a problem, the onus is on the government.
